Despite attempts to obtain a $50,000 per month child support order, Shaniqua Tomkins, who is the mother of 50 Cent’s ten year old son, Marquis, will receive a less than $10,000 order from her rapper ex.
Tomkins asked for $50,000 a month and was granted $25,000 a month while the court went through her and Marquis’ expenses. A ruling was handed down earlier this week: Tomkins will now receive a paltry $6,700 a month in support from Fitty. All that money he makes, I would think he would want to provide more for his son. I think men fail to realize that women are doing everything from the physical part down to the mental part of it while they are off somewhere chillin, women hopping, club hopping, sleeping pass noon or just doing whatever they want to. A Mother can't enjoy all that free time with a child to raise. So therefore, he should PAY more or participate in the physical part of raising the child.
That is $80,440 more then most people make in a year. A child is not a lottery ticket or a career move. There are single mothers out there wishing they could get $200 dollars a month. Just because he is famous doesn't mean she needs to live that same lifestyle. If she gets a simple job just making 30k a year she is in the six figures and how much of that is she spending on her son .

Its obvious that 50 bough her a house, a car, pays medical and dental, schooling, security, etc. Its NO WAY a court would just give her 6700 and he wasnt paying everything else. NO WAY. he is worth 100,000,000

I’m a 70’s baby in my thirties with the name LaQuita and I’m no one’s baby momma, hood rat, with my morals definitely in place. I am Executive Director of a non-profit organization; give back to my community through my service and volunteer work. I attend my church faithfully, may go out on occasions, don’t drink, don’t smoke and I’m currently running two side businesses that are up and coming. I say all this to say “how does a name determine who you are or who you’ll become” what does a parent naming their child LaQuita, Shani qua or anything else have to do with who does or does not’t receive child support. My mother is a retired nurse, father a retire NYCHA Superintendent and I have two siblings that have created a great life for themselves but let you tell it no good thing can come from a parent that would name their child Laquita. I could go on and on but to sum this up I’m highly offended and your just plain ignorant and silly (and I’m being nice).

What happened to Womans' independence that american woman seem to think is all they have to do is have a baby and the good life is handed to them !!! Why are woman allowed to live thruogh their children and not held 100% financial responsibility for themselves and equal financial responsibility for the child or children in question? I personally think $ 6700 is too much! thats $ 80,400 a year tax free which is more than enough money considering she's adding ( 0 ) to the financial wellbeing of the child and we all know she ain't going to save a dime of this money for this child's future. Its all coming from 50cent. TinaLove202, what are you talking about? Read between the lines. Fitty's babymother lucky he's paying that kind of money for his child. All she cares about is getting more money for herself. She wasn't marry to him and had the nerves to move her boyfriend in the home that Fitty got her and his son. She the kind of black woman that give us bad names with her gold digging butt.
The money she is receivingis more than enough to have a child live comfortably and to meet his needs. As part of a child support order he is probably taking care of other needs as well like health care, insurance, education costs, so she is not having to pay for any of that stuff I'm sure so the money she is recieving is just for the fact that she got his baby. She's entitled but should get greedy.
