dirtywhorelebritynews.wordpress.com – Ashanti hit-up MTV’s TRL on earlier this week, homegirl has been lookin’ hot lately, but I suspect she’s either not incredibly smart and/or just a puppet for the music suits that whore her out for their personal financial gain.
My reasoning for my assessment is simple, you gotta be a special kind of stupid to agree to the marketing campaign that her record label, Universal Music Group, created in order to promote her new album, The Declaration.

Universal created a website of a FAKE viral video news report saying that a bunch of copycat crimes had been committed as a result of Ashanti’s music video, “The Way That I Love”, which sees Ashanti murdering her cheating boyfriend. The fake report shows bloody weapons and a Manson-esque crime scene with “Black children will die,” scrawled in blood on a tiled wall. CHECK IT OUT HERE

Universal was forced to pull the video after receiving complaints from lobby groups and family values campaigners, and they released the following statement:

“Following discussions with Ashanti, we have jointly decided to remove the TheWayThatILoveYou.com website that hosts the Gotchagram. Ashanit and her music have always been about self-empowerment and addressing the issues that are most meaningful to her. We stand by our artist and her creative choices.” (All Pictures) Views:
